The Tech Talk Radio team has four regular team members, each member bringing a different skills, interests and passion to the panel. You can even see the tech talk team hard at work! It's not pretty, in fact, it could be deterimental to you health and well being! We also have two regular contibutors, Lidija Davis and Adam Turner.
Andrew McColm Executive Producer / Host
Andrew has been involved in broadcasting all his professional life owning and operating a television and website production facility in Melbourne. In more recent times he's become somewhat of a radio junkie with regular appearences on ABC Radio, and the now defunct 3AK. It was only a matter of time before he found his way behind the mic and brought his passion for technology and love of broadcasting together. The result - Tech Talk Radio.
Dr. Ron Producer / Regular Panelist
Dr Ron has a Bachelor of Music from Melbourne University and knows his audio technology. The good doctor has also worked in the radio communications, telecommunications and voice processing industries for many years, in technical support, project management and sales management roles. Ron is currently employed by the Victorian Government and also runs his own internet hosting business and IT consultancy.
Mark Diggins Panelist
Ever since his Grandfather bought him a soldering iron, Mark has had an interest in electronics. His passion for radio started through Scouting and he followed the radio and electronics path into Telecom Australia. Mark has worked for Telecom / Telstra for over 20 years with the last 10 of those in the mobile phone field. He now runs his own telecommunications busness. Mark likes to bring some of the quirkier aspects of technology to Tech Talk Radio.
Graeme Callaghan Panelist
Graeme has also wielded a soldering iron from an early age. With a strong interest in electronics, radio, audio and video, he has always been surrounded by gadgetry. His career has followed the rise and rise of the PC and the Internet. He began working on component-level repairs of computer terminals only to see their complete replacement by PCs and networks. He now implements solutions for SMBs embracing servers, networking and Internet.
Lidija Davis Foreign Correspondent - United States
Lidija discovered her passion for all things techie 14 years ago. An Australian who moved to Silicon Valley in Dec. 2005, Lidija has worked in the media for 19 years and has just completed coursework in Graduate Journalism at Harvard. She's written and produced for tv, newspapers, and radio. In 1998 she wrote and produced Online, Australia's first television series abou the Internet. Lid blogs at blogwell – a site dedicated to technology for journalists.
Adam Turner Expert Opinion
Adam is a freelance technology journalist who writes news, reviews and opinion for a variety of Australian newspapers, magazines and websites. His passion is the digital lounge room - where PC converges with AV. Each week he offers his View from the Couch of what's happening in the world of technology. Adam was formerly Melbourne deputy editor of Next, the business IT section of Fairfax's The Age and Sydney Morning Herald newspapers. Visit Adam's site.
